Its kind of funny when you see all the people posting stuff, which mention the Bible or something. Ok well wouldnt that be pointless if they would go to Heaven?
Well i dont believe in any religion, its all just there to corrupt your mind about reality. Blah
How do we even know that Heaven exists? Yeah we just read a book and pretty much see it as facts, i mean if it does exist, it would make every other religion redered useless.

I never heard of that one. Why would a baby go to hell?
It has not attained the age of reason, so the baby could not have committed a sin. It is innocent. Yes, it still has the stain of original sin, but that is not his fault.
As the Catechism of the Council of Trent, or Roman Catechism, declares concerning parents who negligently delay the baptism of their newborns: "[I]nfants, unless baptized, cannot enter heaven, and hence we may well conceive how deep the enormity of their guilt, who, through negligence, suffer them to remain without the grace of the sacrament, longer than necessity may require…"
God gives them a great mercy, because the unbaptized infants in Limbo are all spared the pains of hell and enjoy an eternity of natural happiness, whereas had they lived to be adults they would have been damned for personal sins committed? What sinner consigned to hell for all eternity would not yearn to be allowed entry into Limbo?

I am a Catholic and I can tell you that the Catholic church does not teach that unbaptized babies go to hell. God is a kind and loving God.

Who says that unbaptized babies go to hell? NONSENSE!
There are over billions of people on this planet earth, and there are babies dying each day. Not all of us believe in heaven or hell, or God or Jesus or Allah or Buddha,..etc. whatsoever.
In other words, don't believe in the *punishment* God, or Jesus, and nobody will go to hell.
It's only a mind-made belief.

Another Catholic myth. The purpose for babtism is simply a ceremony that symbolises the clean slate that God gave you upon your acceptance of his gift. And that would be the gift of his only son as a sacrifice to pay for your sin. When you accept his gift your sin is washed away as clean as new fallen snow. Babtism is not necessary to be saved. Nowhere in the Bible is it mentioned as a requirement. For instance the theif that was hanging on the cross was saved and never was babtized. John 3:16 even states that the only thing needed is faith and God takes care of the rest when his spirit becomes part of you and makes you whole. God knows babies don't know anything and because he is a just and loving God he takes them home with him

They go to hell or purgatory (Limbo, whatever the hell you want to call it.) I don't remember much.
When I was a catholic, I was told that babies are born with Original Sin.
This is the sin that their parents have committed as well, and for the sins of Adam and Eve.
If you don't atone for original sin by being baptized, you die a sinner, even if the child is indeed innocent (Which they are. Babies don't know what sin is)
I think all organized religion is a bunch of bullshevik.

NO BABIES GO TO HELL. all babies automatically get a pass into heaven because they haven't yet learned how to sin consciously! They are still innocent and anyone that is innocent get a ride into heaven.......kids that are forever like a child get a pass into heaven because they are innocent!!!! Innocence gets a free ride into heaven I believe.

This is what we know.
We know that there is a promise connected to Baptism. A promise of salvation.
We know that faith comes by hearing the Word.
We know that at conception we are sinful creatures.
We know that this sin separates us from God and cannot earn salvation apart from the saving works of Jesus Christ.
Soooo...
I would say that the family that believes that Jesus died for their sins would have a better chance at receiving grace from God as the parents pray for their child's salvation rather than a family that rejects God and yet has some form of hope that there is a heaven which their child is apart of.
I say this because Exodus says, "I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments."
Remember, we are all being punished for one man's sin ... Adam. Yet by the saving works of Jesus Christ, all of us sinners may inherit eternal life.
