That's quite an interesting sociological question.

I can understand where one would agree with that statement. After all, most religions -- monotheistic ones, at least -- are patriarchal. It's very common to have a "father god" and his various female companions to be subordinate. Yahweh / Jehovah, Zeus, Odin, and even Ahura Mazda have a distinct masculinity.

On the other hand, it's not very likely to say that only women would worship the gods. Men and women alike worship a set of sociologically-acceptable divinities.

I would agree, if only for the idea that women typically never create religions with such astringent dogmas.

I have to split this decision in two cause it can go totally either way depending on the type of God created and purpose of event or time. Throughout history and time devoted followers of all religions or faiths have erected palaces, statues, temples, churches, figures etc to the glory of all-knowing & all-seeing. Every race and or creed on this Earth has gone thru this evolution so I would have to say 49 % Man & 49% Women equally and the remaining 1% could be the exact difference of some idiot on either side creating & worshiping a "flea" as a GOD?

Well, while I believe in God and that all souls are an individuation of the formless, genderless energy source which is God, I will agree that the God that most worship is not the true God, but an entity created with human qualities by man along with the dogma and doctrine surrounding this false entity. That of the old man with a long white beard and flowing robes sitting upon a throne in the clouds. Dogma such as satan, hell, sins etc., were designed by early male politico-religious leaders in order to suppress the role of women in society and control the populace through fear-based living.

Since I believe in the literal existence of the Gods independent of us I'd have to disagree, but even if I were of the mindset that we create the Gods I'd disagree because women create Gods as well. Religion isn't just a male invention, nor is it a male tool to control women under the "oppression of the patriarchy".

Disagree. Man did not create God. God created man. Men and women should worship the Lord in spirit and in truth together.

We do indeed have the ability to create other forms of life
with our spiritual energy. Christ said in certain lost works, that
there are evil beings who fight us because if they give in, they will lose their existence. Meaning the energy that created them
would have to return to us, and they would no longer have their
own identity.
As far as worshipping gods, and the Bible says "there are gods many". We'd do better to keep our mind on the God that created the gods.

What does it matter who creates the fake god?

Mankind has a history of creating their own gods. But there is only 1 true god that created everything and wishes us to follow his Son: The God of Abraham.
