my first question in Y answers was how to overcome depression. Though I always tell others to seek professional support in this type of situation, at that moment I needed instant replies to my anxiety. I must say that in less that 5 minutes I got many answers from nice people, encouraging me to do different useful things to overcome my problem.
Sometimes we are too desperate and we need other people`s opinion or guide. In this site we are anonymous so we are more willing to open up. I perfectly understand you. Ignore those you tell you "Stop your whining, etc. etc." They are selfish, or they just can`t bear to hear about problems. Perhaps they don`t know how to solve their own.
Not everybody is immature, ignorant, etc. here. Good luck!

The problem is that you are not just wanting to find a job. You are trying to find a decent job. Two things - try harder, any job is decent if you need to put bread on your table!
When you eventually get a job, you won't feel alone. It is staying at home and TRYING to find a DECENT job that makes you alone - cos most people are busy working, studying or getting a life - such as raising a young family.
Stop seeing people who tells you the truth and the very plain truth as jerks, immature or ignorant. Perhaps these descriptions best describe your shadow?

For my own experience I have asked a few questions, & was pleasantly suprised just how many people try to give honest, sincere, & heartfelt answers, & I get a good feeling when I learn that so many people will take the time to do so.
When I answer a question such as yours I try to do the same as the others & give it my best shot, & help out any way I can because that gives me a good feeling as well. Sure there are a lot of jerks out there, but you need to trust your instincts & filter out their responses as nonsense, & ignore them. I wouldn't use this forum as a substitute for good ol' fashioned therapy, but it is a good supplement. You're not alone, look at all of the people here who really care, you're part of it. Thank-You.

I do not know what your problem is, you sound sad.
I give a lot of humorous answers to questions that appear humorous. but if I feel hurt in a question I answer as truthfully as I can .
I do not approve of a hurtful answer to someone who is hurting.
I must tell you though that I am a Christian, and I say it boldly because I am the type of believer that has faced hardships.
I do not ask people to believe me with no proof, I ask them to test it.
I will not tell you to do anything but pray sincerely, ask Jesus to help you believing that he will and watch the change.
People who see miracles have become so accustomed to them until they only seem like miracles to those in spiritual blindness.
The scriptures say, "seek and ye shall find."
They also say "study to show thyself approved."
If you worship God just to worship him he will send so many blessings your way you wont have any place on this planet to store them.
Believe me when I say that I am going to say a prayer for you right now, I expect God to hear me, and he will send you blessings, accept them.

I like it for the honesty you get from strangers. Yur friends and family don't always tell you the truth b/c they think it will hurt them. But I would rather have brutal honesty than sugar coated bull$hit.
The crappy answers bug me, but so do some of the crappy questions. I just ignore them. Good luck

No. But you everyone needs someone to vent. I know alot of people have no manners. If you want to discuss something without being judge you can contact me by email or whatever. I currently have my AA in Sociology and will be finishing my BA in a year.
I warn you. I will not be your "yes" man, but I will respect your feelings.
