What you are saying is realistic, but hard for people to see in the near future. If Christianity were banned in my country (it already is in several others), the "lukewarm" and "Sunday only" Christians would be challenged to make a choice one way or another. There would be no more playing around casually with religion, because the cost would be too high. Each person would be called into account, and some families would split and turn against each other. Churches would hold secret meetings, and I hope I would still sings songs of praise out loud...

I don't think it will make any difference, almost everyone have a religion in this world and,umm war is still going on,the rate of crime is not getting lower but booming high.
Religion does play an important role in the society but it doesn't really shape the society as would said in the bible.
Communist also believe in god,but its a way that they want to live their live.Being a christian doesn't mean anything,in today world,it just a mere religion where people go to church. Not able to preach, nor talk about God make no difference at all because its not god that the reason that people fighting or commit crime.ITS MONEY,and no religion,no big deal,no money, hell is a big deal.Money makes the money go around and control the world(even without religion)

It is interesting that when speaking of no religion in the world, you only concentrate on Christianity.
It shows that you have very limited knowledge of the world. Christianity is certainly not the largest, but I think Islam is. I also think there are more Buddhists. So, what exactly do you mean?
Could Buddhists talk about God or only Christians would be banned?
What side are you on?
In Communist countires religion survived Unofficially (my g/f is a former russian and grew up under communism. So the fact is that unofficially. the commies knew they could not eliminate religion. So it will always be there because you can't make a law that erases it.
So, it will never really happen.

In the USA we have something called the 2nd Amendment and this is what GOOD ,PATIOTIC AMERICANS rely on. Just as O'Isreal is fighting the Hezzies right now you would be surprised at what Armeggedon will bring down with the Trumpet of the Lord after his return comes as a complete surprise cause HE WILL RETURN LIKE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT to reclaim the earth

What you are referring to is not only realistic, but it is currently happening in many places in the world, and will, according to the Bible, one day be the truth in the entire world
During the Great Tribulation, the last days before the return of Christ, the world will be under the tyrannical rule of someone referred to as Antichrist. Only one religion-worship of Antichrist-
will be allowed. According to Revelation 20:4 anyone who worships Jesus during these days will be beheaded.
You want to know what that will be like? Christ describes it this way in Matthew 24:21-a time of great distress never before or never again to be equaled.

Take a look at China how the church is doing there, this is a good example of what you just described.
Christians are Christians in China, to be a pastor in the underground Church you typically have the scars to prove your allegance to God since most have been severly beaten and thrown in prison for their faith.
The church flourishes under persecution because people who just wear the name get filtered out real quickly.

I couldn't give up my belief in Christ simply because it was no longer permitted. I am a Christian above all else. My belief in Christ is a reflection of my life. The Word of the Lord (the Bible) is more important to me than the law of the land. I would find a way to worship the Lord and I'm sure many others would fight for that right too.

A true Christian doesn't require religion to be pleasing to God. I'm not saying that religion is not right for some people, but not necessary to love and praise God.
Right is right and wrong is wrong. People would still believe in God looking at your fictitious would. It would be interesting to test the results.

, being without direction would be kayos. Could you imagine roads with out signs of direction or speed limits? Every where there is authority, and with out it it would be kayos, Just like it would be with out the Word of God, having no direction (law).
Just like in the old testament right before the 10 Commandments were written on stone by God and handed to Moses. The ppl were without direction (law) and were in madness.
