A friend of mine told me that while he was on a missionary trip to Mexico he witnessed what the border patrol does when they catch an illegal. He said they put them an a room with the AC on so it is like 45 degrees in there. Then they strip them of everything but their skivvy's and put them back in Mexico. He also said some people called Minutemen will patrol the border and arrest illegals but if they try to get away, they will just take pop shots at them and kill them in cold blood as they aren't armed. Has anyone else seen or heard anything about this, or can someone tell me the truth of these accounts?

Thats what I thought tripledigit but he is a hardcore christian and he devotes himself to god and I really don't think he is capable of lying. And he said he saw it firsthand.

First, I don't want to deny your friend what he thinks is right. Unless he saw it personally, I would not believe it. As far as the COLD room? I think the illegals might need some of that cool, but I doubt that happens.
As far as stripping them? Well the only ones who ever get stripped are the ones concealling weapons or drugs such as cocaine, heroin or other illicit drugs. Those are usually detained
and unfortunately let go so they can do it again. Thats OUR laws......
And as far as the minutemen, they DON'T take pot shots at the illegals. They are there to alert the Border Patrols when they see groups or singles advancing toward our borders. They have NO power to stop the people coming our way, they are there to inform where they are thats it.

A lot of tripe. The Border Patrol and the Minute Men are doing a very humane job down there and actually have saved quite a few illegals who have lost their way in the desert. Talk to the Arizona natives along the border. I have and they will tell you the truth about the Minute Men.
And truth be told, the people causing illegals the most harm are their fellow Mexicans who cram them into trucks and try to sneak them into this country. And of course the drug dealers who use them as mules. Again, ask an Arizona Native who has land on the border that is covered with backpacks and empty water bottles and dotted with holes where drugs are buried and retrieved by some very unsavory people in the dead of night.

I can't see that being a systemic, He may have witnessed an incident perpetrated by one or 2 bad apples. and if it is true they should be dealt with. But I cant see that being policy. I mean there are bad apples everywhere. look at the prison in Iraq. I don't think that even one tenth of one percent of troopes in Iraq agree with what went on there. but it happened just the same.
The majority of border guards as well as troops in Iraq are professional and trying to do the right thing, with the info they have. God bless them all, They're jobs are not easy.

Maybe it doesn't happen every time, but some officials from the INS abused their power sometimes, and minutemen have shot people just for not stopping, but not every minuteman or INS agent acts that way...
