Well, this is a deep question.
To me evil is when I do something that is not good.
It is also defined by what it is not.
Evil is a human word, which brings to my mind visions of Lucifer or Satan.
Evil is the root of badness.
It's the what's behind thought that results in very bad.
God is good.
Satan is evil.
These are our words that conjure up images whihch we can refer to.
Evil is anything which is not in line with God's will, in accordance with our definition, it's what we do when we choose what isn't the best choice.
Very good question.
Evil is the root of all trouble, but then again, everything is internal.
We create our own evil.
God created us.
We created evil.

Evil means good people standing back and doing nothing and letting bad things continue. I don't care if it's fear or apathy, that's evil.

When I think of pure evil I think of satan. I also think of those terrorists who flew planes into the World Trade Center buildings. I think of people who molest little children. That's what comes to mind.
