German R you are an idiot, learn before you speak. Mexico does indeed get foreign aid, in fact;

"Mexico, which received a $50 billion multilateral bailout thanks to U.S. urging in 1994, received over $15 million in assistance from the United States in FY 1998. Nevertheless, Mexico voted against the United States 67 percent of the time in the 53rd Session. Indeed, Mexico received over $56 million in bilateral U.S. economic assistance between 1993 and 1998, yet it voted against the United States an average of 65 percent of the time over that period." is an excerpt from www.heritage.org/Research/InternationalOrganizations/BG1335.cfm
which discusses how much our foreign aid is appreciated by other countries (which isn't much)

Foreign Aid as nothing to do with the immigration problem. The reason people continue to cross into US borders is because thier government doesn't have enough work for them to do in their home base country.

Work might be avaliable, but when the average Mexican makes 50 pesos a DAY or $5.00, which would you rather risk? The idea of being illegal making more money in the US or barely make a living in Mexico?

Mexico gets no foreign aid from the U.S. BUT (there's always a but isn't there?)....Illegal aliens in this country send more than $7,000,000,000 a year Mexico (families). Yes, that's seven billion dollars. To get an idea of how much money that is, you could spend $7,000,000 (million) a year and it would take you a thousand years to spend it all.

America should just invade Mexico the current system in place there does not work they are leaving by the boat loads. Mexico should be giving us free oil after what our costs are for their failed systems of government. Yes they do get aid. War on drugs is one area that isn't working America is sending money for that project. Their all grown up now let them take responsibility for their own countries. Mexico really does has a moral obligation to better it's own country.

Yes, I don't think that is unreasonable. No one likes just a taker. They could do their part in helping us with the problems that have been caused by their people coming unlawfully.

Batgirl-I was just going to add that--those are the figures I found too.

And what do they do to encourage their citizens to go to the us?
All I've ever seen is small minded people ranting about this, but I've never actually seen any encouragement for their citizens.

We should empose Sanctions. Or BETTER Yet Simply have them give us FREE oil for all the Money there ILLEGALS have cost us. Send Mexico a GIANT BILL and Demand Payment in Full. And even after we get paid we STILL send the Illegals Home.

Absolutely. But we won't. And the reason we will continue to redistribute our wealth to the rest of the world who hates us, our way of life, our successes, our inventions, our military, and our morals, is simply because we have always had a guilt complex. We strive to make the world love us. It's been ingrained in the Anglo-Yankee mentality for hundreds of years. This is why we will always reward the hand that stabs us in the back.
