one the introduction of horses changed the way the people moved about. it made getting food and campsites easier to get to. they could save more food easier. they could also expand the range to find food. the last was that they could make war on enemies easier. but the style of war then was different then. it was more could you get close enough to the enemy to touch him and get away without being seen. so all around it had a major impact on the way they lived.

p.s. Until Europeans came to this continent, there were no cattle in the western hemisphere either.....And mesquite trees (prosopsis glandulosa) were nowhere to be found north of the Rio Grande.
