1- Why do catholics pray to images
We don't. Images simply help us to remember with whom we're communicating.
2- Pray to A necklace of beans
If you mean the Rosary, the Rosary consists of a series of prayers based on scripture, which recall specific moments in the life of Christ and his church, particularly his incarnation, life, death, and resurrection. The prayers of the Rosary venerate Mary, but give worship to God alone. We use the Rosary as an aid to prayer. We don't pray to it.
3- Pray to A statue of mary or A dashboard bobble head of mary
See the answer to number one.
4- Don't pray to God but instead to mary
We pray to God without ceasing, especially at Mass. We get Mary involved in our causes because she is closer to Jesus than we are, and she is a creature, just like us, as well.
5- Baptize with sprinkling of water
What do you care? Protestants claim baptism isn't really necessary anyway. For the record, we typically pour water, or immerse, and we use the Trinitarian formula.
6- Preachers dress in white as to symbolize A virgin
Priests and bishops wear various colors of vestments to communicate the spirit of the particular time of the church liturgical year. Virginity doesn't enter into it, but chastity does.
7- Nuns cant marry and dress in black
Nuns (sisters) are technically married to Christ. They can dress in most any color they choose.

wow you are a little off in your assumptions there. Catholics do not pray to images, necklaces or statues. Instead they use these images as reminders of others who have either led a religious life or have a special connection to God such as giving birth to his son. We do not pray to Mary, instead we pray through Mary to God- God hears our prayers but it sometimes is helpful to have someone else to talk to it helps some people communicate better if they can think that they are talking to a someone not quite as intimidating. The water is a symbolism of baptism no matter what christian religion you are so as long as you believe then it does not matter if you are submerged or sprinkled and actually it is usually only the babies who are sprinkled most adult baptisms that I have been to the adults are completely submerged. The priest's main garment, a cassock is actually black, and the white where white cloak over the top is not to symbolize a virgin but to symbolize purity. (FYI the black is to stress modesty.) After Vatican II nuns are no longer required to wear black instead they are to wear modest clothing. They do not marry because they have dedicated their lives to God and have taken the solemn vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. 1.We do not pray to images, we use the images to help us focus on the real person and we ask saints to pray with us as friends.
2.We do not pray to our Rosaries we use them to pray with, to keep our hands busy and to count.
3.The statue on our dash boards is the same as number 1. It helps to remind us to pray,
4.We do pray to God. We ask Mary to pray with us and for us much as you would ask a friend.
5. IT is the spirit of baptism not the amount of water used. THe desert followers used little water.
6.The Priests use many different colors and white symbolizes purity not virginity.
7. Not all nuns wear black and they 'marry' Christ. If they could marry a man then they would not be nuns. THey have a calling to stay in the celibate state. If they married humans then they would be lay people like you and I."The unmarried cares how they may please God."

Wow, I'm not a catholic and I'm offended. Honey, use your imagination and go way back to when the Holy Roman EMPIRE took over most of Europe. They insisted there was one true God. The Celts (and many others) believed in a goddess as well. Thus, Mary was their substitute. You can only use religion to control if you give the 'masses' a little something back. Remember the nuns in black? Women were deemed too powerful and thus, pushed back into place. Search out some good religious history or take a class in multi-cultural studies at a local university. It's very interesting.

1- Why do catholics pray to images
Do you have pictures of your loved ones? So do we.
Do you worship these pictures or the people they remind you of? Neither do we.
Do you love and honor the people represented in the pictures? So do we.
Catholics share the belief in the Communion of Saints with many other Christians, including the Eastern Orthodox, Anglican, and Episcopal Churches.
The Communion of Saints is the belief where all saints are intimately related in the Body of Christ, a family. When you die and go to heaven, you do not leave this family.
Everyone in heaven or on their way to heaven are saints, you, me, my deceased grandmother, Mary the mother of Jesus, and Mother Teresa.
As part of this family, you may ask your family and friends here on earth to pray for you. Or, you may also ask the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Andrew, or your deceased grandmother in heaven to pray for you.
2- Pray to A necklace of beans
A rosary is simply a tool to count prayers. We pray to God, not the rosary.
3- Pray to A statue of mary or A dashboard bobble head of mary
We pray to God all the time. We sometimes ask the Blessed Virgin Mary to pray for us (see question 1).
4- Don't pray to God but instead to mary
We pray to God all the time. We sometimes ask the Blessed Virgin Mary to pray for us (see question 1).
5- Baptize with sprinkling of water
The Catechism of the Catholic Church states:
Baptism is performed in the most expressive way by triple immersion in the baptismal water.
However, from ancient times it has also been able to be conferred by pouring the water three times over the candidate's head.
Acts 2:38 states: Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand persons were added that day.
It has been suggested that there would not be enough time or fresh water in Jerusalem for three thousand people to be baptized by full immersion in one day and that some or all of these baptisms might have been by pouring or sprinkling water.
6- Preachers dress in white as to symbolize A virgin
A priest wears an alb, a white linen vestment with close fitting sleeves, reaching nearly to the ground and secured round the waist. The white color symbolizes the purity of Christ not virginity. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alb
7- Nuns cant marry and dress in black
This idea of a celibate religious life came from the Jews, John the Baptist, Jesus, and the Apostle Paul.
The Jews. The Talmud argues that a person whose “soul is bound up with the Torah and is constantly occupied with it” may remain celibate (Maimonides, Laws of Marriage 15.3). For example, Yahweh ordered the prophet Jeremiah not to marry (Jeremiah 16:1-4). Moreover, the Essenes was a group that was active in Jesus’ time that practiced celibacy and thought by most scholars to be the authors of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
John the Baptist and Jesus are both believed to have been celibate for their entire lives. Some scholars believe that the example of the Essenes influenced either or both Jesus and John the Baptist in their celibacy.
The Apostle Paul is explicit about his celibacy (see 1 Cor. 7). There is also evidence in the gospel of Matthew for the practice of celibacy among at least some early Christians, in the famous passage about becoming “eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven” (Matt. 19:12).
The concept took many twists and turns over the years and will probably take a few more before Christ returns in glory.
Some religious sisters now wear modest civilian clothes. But some still wear white, black, or light blue habits.
+ With love in Christ.

1. catholics don't pray to images. they pray to god but use the images as personifications of god. it's left over from early paganism.
2. the rosary beads are a prayer ritual often used at funeral services to pray for the dead. catholocism is steeped in rites and rituals that date to the early church.
3. in catholocism mary is the queen of heaven. as the mother of jesus, the lord and savior, she is given a very exalted position.
4. mary is viewed as important as the trinity. see #3. they pray in addition to god, not in lieu of. mary is viewed with much the same reverence in reference to prayer.
5. holy water is used in the baptism ritual and on certain special occasions. it's like being blessed by a priest.
6. priests' dress is also steeped in ancient pomp and circumstance. the different colors have different meanings. priests also take the vow of chastity and are supposed to remain celibate throughout their priestly life.
7. it's been stated by many biblical scholars that women had a prominent role in jesus's vision of christianity. but the male dominated society of the day put an end to that soon after jesus's death.
it's a popular myth that catholics participate in the worship of graven images. that's not really true. much like the cross may symbolize a christian's faith, certain icons may help represent a catholic's faith. as i said earlier, it's mostly left over from the conversion of early pagans. but the meaning is the same. catholics use these icons as a visual expression of god and it's done with great respect. regardless if you use icons or not, you're still praying to the same god.
i've never figured out why some christians despise the reverence of mary. is it simple mysogyny? maybe it's just unfathomable to some people that a woman would have such an exalted position in a male dominated organization like religion.
i hope this helped. i was raised catholic and have spent much time trying to figure out the reasons behind many of the rites and rituals i learned as a child.

OK, if you are really interested....Catholics don't pray to images. You have pictures of friends and family around your house, don't you? Do you pray to them? We have statues and pictures of saints around as reminders like family photos. We pray to God. We don't pray to Rosary Beads. We say prayers at each bead. The beads help us to meditate on Jesus' life as we pray. I answered 3. We don't pray to Mary. We pray to God, as I've said. We ask Mary, and other saints, to pray to God for us as you ask your prayer groups to pray for you. We baptize with water as you baptize with water. We pour water on the candidate's head, not sprinkle. How much water is irrelevant. I assume you are talking about priests' clothing while they say mass. Any other time they tend to wear black with a white collar. During mass, they don't always wear white. They wear certain colors according to the Church calendar. They only wear white on certain occasions. They most often wear green, but they also wear purple, red, and rarely pink. Not all nuns wear black. Some wear white, especially if she's in an order that is dedicated to nursing. Some, and most, wear blue, though a dark shade. Nuns dedicated themselves to serving God and getting married would mean that they need to care for their family as well. When communities of sisters (nuns are cloistered meaning they do not go out into the world) began, they wanted to discourage male attention. So, they wore what widows wore. It has changed a lot since then and many sisters wear street clothes now.
My question is: Are you really interested in learning this or was that just a veiled insult in the form of a question? If you really want to learn about this stuff, feel free to contact me with other questions.

Man-made tradition...tradition...tradition ! Obviously, they are not following Bible Instruction. God's Word clearly says not do make graven images or pray to them. They are powerless and can be burned in the fire. He also denounced the scribes and pharisees for wearing fancy garb and taking the most prominant seats in public places. (Matthew). He said they were off springs of vipers; hypocrites, among other names. I do believe, and not only Catholic priests, but many professed Pastors, are modern day scribes and pharisees that Jesus denounced when He was on earth. He said not everyone saying Lord Lord will enter into the Kindgom of Heaven, but the one who is doing the will of my Father will.
