Christians aren't promised heaven. I reject your reality and substitute my own: Christians have the capacity to attain to the Pearly Gates. It is NOT a promise.
In the same vein, Muslims are also not 'promised' heaven. They have the potential to reach it after living a virtuous life. Still, though, it is FAR, FAR more likely that all people may enter heaven, as God cannot be so petty as to infinitely damn someone for ignorance of religion or the finite number of sins they commit in a lifetime. Even most humans aren't so imprudent in the administering of their laws.

Christians are not garenteed heavan go back and reread the new testement. all the faith in jesus in the world will not get you in to heavan for James 2:17 faith without works is dead. and muslims are promised virgins and heaven...

First of all, it's not just "Christians" that are promised heaven. It is whoever has repented and chose to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. Anyone else is promised an eternity to perish.

judging by the answers, the people on the forum are totally ignorant. no one is "promised" heave, Christian or Muslim. It is only God's will and what good you have done on earth and obeying God that helps you get to heaven.

heaven where have you been. Haven't you heard the 70 virgins in heaven that wait for these brave men who blow there selves up.
Poor women who have to share one man and an idiot at that.
If you support 4 wives and be generous to poor people and hate americans. You get to go to heaven.
