My sister knows him and says he is a player, and that I better leave him alone or she wont talk to me!! She says he only wants sex, and I don't do that!! Do I listen to her???

i would probably trust your sister if she is older than you. she probably goes to school with him.. you also sound kinda young.. i dont think you should bother getting involved in any sticky situations like that...there is lots of time for that later... just make friends and if they like you, they will respect you and wait until you are ready. if you really want to go out with this guy...than double date or make sure to meet in a public place so there is no sexual pressure. good luck on whatever you decide ..

Sounds like you have a smart sister; 3 years can be a big difference between some people, and between others, no big deal. But I'd be very, very cautious with this one.

it depends on how old you are. you're probably in high school or something so if he's in college you should definitely NOT date him. especially if your sister says he's a player. my cousin is in high school and her college boyfriend keeps dumping her and then getting back together with her. it's a terrible emotional rollercoaster, don't date anyone a lot older than you until you are sure that you like them, and you're older.
