Should I be the first to contact a boyfriend who I wrote asking if he was ready to marry me?

Wrote the letter, he has not answered or contact me in a week. He first mentioned marriage. I am very upset but I am looking for him to verbally answer me with a yes or no so I can have closure.

You should not have to call or write him anymore... if he wants 2 be with you or not he should contact u in person or by phone..
