well i know this guy and i wer'e really good friends online but should i trust him?

People on Yahoo Messenger are as trustworthy as people in a darkened tavern, including me.
In a darkened tavern, you can only hear your companion. On Messenger, you can only read what they write. In both the tavern and Messenger, you have no real idea of their appearance or their sincerity. However, sincerity can be faked in person as well as online.

Trust but verify, everything he says. It pays to be a bit cynical on here. Just take your time, with whomever, you are dealing with. The truth will come out, after a while.

all depends on what your trusting him with. If your just going to chat then i dont see any reason why not. You dont have to give him anymore info. than you want to.
