It doesn't cost anything to call the vet and ask if he should be seen. If you're concerned at all, it's always best to call the vet and play it safe instead of waiting it out to see if it goes away.

If you're worried, go ahead and call the vet. It could be an absess or something. My cat had that awhile back after getting into a fight. But if Boxers are predisposed to cancer and tumors, it might be a good idea to call and find out because I'm sure the earlier the detection, the better.

Your pup should see the vet. If it's really small it could also be a tick. Could be a number of things. Best thing to do when in question, is take the pup in. Your vet is the only one who could give you an answer your seeking.

It is very common in boxers to have tumors, I would go to the vet pronto before he gets sick. The tumor can make him so sick he could die!!
