Why do people hate all Muslims for the mistake of some (very few) Muslims?

For the same reason why so many Muslims chant the death of American and England, Misinformation and prejudice. It is not only the non Muslims who hate the Muslims, the Muslims hate non Muslims as well. Misinformation and prejudice teaching. in addition, not all people hate all Muslims.
let me guess you are Muslim and feel hated by all, correct! then does that mean you hate all non Muslims! I hope not.

Not all Muslims are terrorist, but most terrorist are Muslims, that could be one reason. It doesn't mean they are all are, and those who are not, are not speaking out against it, because they will be consider as traitors to their faith, so they just don't do or say much.

SOME PEOPLE may hate all Muslims for the mistakes of a few select Muslims. Some people hate white people because of the mistakes of a few. Some people may hate Mexicans because they met one who was mean to them. We cannot judge an entire group of people based on what we know about a few select individuals. I don't hate anyone. FYI There are not few muslims who are bad. Even this small portion of muslisms is larger than most existing religions. WIth all the muslims to commit violence added you would be running into millions. But still we should not just judge them until we have proof (this is wrong). Another thing is people dont really hate them, it is just fear that we will become their next victim. The muslim community has to do more to protect themselves from discrimination, eg. start a march or something to tell that terrorists are not muslisms and dont deserve to be.

I don't know that people hate all Muslims but to the degree that your question is true it has to do with the fact that a number of terrorist have claimed to have acted in the name of allah! If the majority of the terrorist acts in the world are done by people that claim to be Muslims and those responsible claim that it is in the name of their faith would it not make sense that others would be suspicious of those who claim to be of that faith! When have you heard of people of the Muslim faith condemn any terrorist that is Muslim! Muslims who do not support terrorism are doing a very poor job of PR.

I think the best way for Muslims to remedy the situation would be to do the following: 1. Question their religion and consider whether the civil rights abuses (e.g. women's rights) in Muslim theocracies should be remedied; 2. each time a terrorist performs an evil act in their religion's name, galvanize the Muslim community to protest loudly and openly. First of all its no mistake-all the attacks on innocent civilians by Muslims in the past 35-40 years have been intentional and deliberate. Because the good Muslims are not doing a good job of condemning the bad ones. Where are the fatwas against violence? Why did the Taliban refuse to deliver up bin Laden? Because Muslims want to see Israel gone and all Jewish people dead. They shake your hand and want to put a knife in your back with the other. My son is in Iraq and some of the people he killed were just waving at him and give the Americans the thumbs up and at night time trying to kill him with an RPG. Thank God my son is a sniper.
