how weired is it for a 23 year old to start college?

Go for it!!! It is not weird at all. More and more people are entering college later than the traditional right after high school model. Good luck! ;)

Not at all weird. In fact, when I was in college fifteen years ago, there were many, many older than average students. I still keep in contact with a woman who sat next to me in many of my classes. She's fifty now, but she was interesting to get to know back then.
