I'm under the distinct impression that no one here reads anyone else's answers but their own. I've CORRECTLY answered this question three times and I still read the same incorrect nonsense from peopl.
Pay attention this time....
Skunking (or being light-struck) is a chemical reaction caused when the alpha acids from the hops get hit by UV-rays (ie: the sun or flourescent bulbs). In fact, this chemical reaction creates the exact same chemical that a skunk sprays.
Repeating myself: Skunking is a chemical reaction caused when the alpha acids from the hops get hit by UV-rays. Ultra vioilet rays do not penetrate tin cans, aluminum cans, kegs, or paper bags. Brown glass offers a good bit of protection, which is why most beer bottles are brown.
Heat, cold or age does not cause skunkiness. It causes stale beer. There is a difference.

Beers have a expiry date.
Depends on the outside temperature.
If you are in Alaska, I guess that they would be fine to drink.
If expose to temperatures above 30C for long periods, then skunked.

I would say yes... but open one up and if it smells worse then normal then that def means it's skunked. But hey if you get drunk enough maybe you'll drink it!

Eww...probably. I have always known the rule of thumb to be that if you buy it refrigerated you must keep it refrigerated....if you buy it warm you can keep it un-refrigerated but keep it in a dark cool place. Kind of how they store it at the distributor. Throw it out. hehe
