No matter what you do, it will always obviously have a brown look.
If you want, you can add white or black paint to it for a tint or shade, if thats what you're looking for.
You could possibly add red or yellow...these 2 colors will go good with taupe, and may give you a tan or different deeper or lighter brown. Avoid bluish and purplish reds. Stick with the warm colors.
Adding any other colors are just going to make the paint look muddy.
My advice: Just experiment in small samples with some of the above suggestions and see if they are what you are looking for.

take it to the paint store so they could put it on the shaking machine. I think you could turn it chocolate brown..very elegant back drop for a sexy scene.
