I am not the judge of others on earth. That job belongs to Jesus and I don't want it (even if it included a great salary). The Bible never uses the term homosexuality, but it does refer to behavior that would be considered homosexuality. Leviticus 18:22 refers to this behavior as a "hateful sin". More importantly, the Bible describes appropriate relationships as those between a man and a woman.

If you are religious then it is!

Im straight myself, but i think its terrible when gays are discriminated against...I guess the reason why it is considered a sin is because man was supposed to be with a woman to create children, and so populate the earth

So being gay is considered going against the laws of nature, as our basic function in the world as humans (and like any other animals) is to produce children

But we should understand that humans lead complex lives, and that accepting people for who they are would make the world a better place, where everyone could co-exist peacefully

Being gay is not even a choice. its just another course of nature and what makes it a sin is what someone erroneous do as a gay.
In the early years of mankind, women are cursed as the cause of man's sin. And women are considered inferior to men. And now the world have a different view. Wait for your turn. It will come.

having homosexual relations is a sin. But it is no worse than any other sins that any of us commit. So it is not right for all these people to go around judging homosexuals because their sins are no worse than any of their own sins.

According to the Bible, having gay sex is a sin. BEING gay doesn't seem to be a sin.

yes it is. They said god made adam and Eve not Adam and Steve....is true God didn't make people gay there's no way you can be born gay, but my cousin was five and didn't ven know what being gay is and he asked for a barbie doll house and a kitchen, so I might be wrong but all I know being gay is a sin. I don't want my cous to go to hell I hate that so much! Just thinking about it makes me really depressed

I have nothing against anyone. Gay, straight, theif, liar, etc. What I don't like is the sin. You may not believe that homosexuality is a sin, but the Bible says it is. If you don't believe that, ok. It doesn't make me dislike you that we disagree. People throughout time have disagreed on many issues. Who cares? Is it really that life or death that everyone say it's ok? I have nothing against you, if you choose to dislike me because of this, then I am truly sorry, but I won't change either, just like you won't change based on what I believe.

Some people like to try and say that the Bible doesn't say that homosexuality is a sin. But it does, plain and simple:

Leviticus 18:22 " 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable."
Romans 1:24-28 " Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done."
1 Corinthians 6:9-19 " Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." (this verse talks about those who have commited any of these sins and not been repentant of their acts)
Jude 1:7 "In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire." (Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by God because they were cities filled with all kinds of perversion, the Bible lists homosexuality as one of the things the cities were destroyed for -this story is found in Genesis 19:1-25.)

Homosexual behavior is always discussed in the Bible as sin. Historical Christian interpretation has consistently viewed homosexual behavior as sinful. The modern word sodomy even comes from the biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah.
There are those who take some of the passages of Scripture above and attempt to show that they do not really mean to condemn homosexuality. But these arguments fall short, and upon investigation become an obvious ploy to distort the plain meaning of Scripture. As applies to other doctrines of the Bible, one must avoid trying to interpret Scripture in light of one's proclivities, and instead, interpret one's proclivities in light of Scripture. The Bible is the grid. It is wrong to overlay your own grid on the Bible.

In the eyes of God yes. Gay = Sodomite and God destroyed a lot of folks for that sin. You are sinning against God.

By what the bible says yes it is a sin. But i personaly belive that you cant change wether you are or are not so people need to leave the subject up to god to judge
