as Limited and won't let me change it. I just bought this Dell used and I am the only owner. I put Limited as a mistake for my user. When I log in it just goes directly to me and their is no option to change other than "see an administrator". Please help, none of the three answers to my question an hour ago are options. Thanks

I don't know if it works on XP Home, but I know on XP Pro you can hold down the shift key when you log off, it should take you back to the login.

If that doesn't work, you can restart the computer and press F6 while the PC is booting, and boot into safe-mode. That will give you the option to log in as administrator, once logged in you can change your user account from limited to administrator, restart, and you are good to go.
