my girl friend left her verbal abrusive and emotional abrusive boyfriend about 5 months ago....the last time he saw her,which was about 2 weeks ago..he called every bad name he could think of using the the b word with it....why is he so angry at her, beside he is living with some one else now....is it that he is guilt about the way he had been treating her or is just stupid...and won't except that she was strong enough to leave him

This was Domestic Violence. Domestic Violence is NOT about anger, it is power and control. Right now he has lost that power and control over her and will lash out anyway he can. This can also be a dangerous time for her so its important she be cautious. It does not matter to him that he is living with someone new (who im sure he is now abusing) he feels a sense of entitlement over your girlfriend.
A good thought of why its power and control and not anger....does he verbally abuse his boss, the cop that pulls him over ot his mother? prob not.....
If it was anger it would spill over into every area of his life.

Its the fact that she had enough strength left to get up and walk away before she got killed. He hate her now because she didn't stay there to accept his beatings and verbal abuse. Besides he's not stupid he's an a**hole for putting his hands on a woman......

He sounds like he has self esteem issues and if he cant have her he will hurt her the best thing for her to do is just ignore him and try not to cross his path . Its easy for a guy to feel superior if he is putting pressure on a frailer target . makes him feel like a big man, and that he isn't. I doubt he feels guilty at all . He probably thinks that he has lost her to you and he cant stand losing at any level .

Abusive people can not accept that someone would leave them. THEY are the ones who make all decisions.

you may want to be on guard when she thinks he may or may not be around. he may try something... You may want to have her make a report with the Police right away.
