With patience, trust, love and understanding, and a great deal of calling back and forth.
PS None of mine lasted for more than 1 month.

That's the best way to make a relationship last, you can't get on each others nerves.
Just kidding.
It's really hard to make a long distance relationship last because people get lonely being alone all the time. To make it last, those involved have to be very mature and dedicated to each other. You have to be honest and committed or else one will seek company else where.

If the distance is created by a temporary situation, then call, email and communicate. You can get through it because there is light at the end of the tunnel. BUT if the distance is permanent until one of you move to others location..it very probably won't work out and you should let it go now before you spend hundreds of dollars on phone bills and plane tickets.

i recently fell n love with someone long distance and im still in love with them and vise versa. I live in Arkansas and they live in Florida so i was surly a ways away from her. Just call alot...talk about everything...you will soon find a very close relationship will progress. It'll be like you were there with each other and never apart. We broke up but it wasnt because of distance we just wanted to move on. Now that time passed we now know that we cant live with each other so she is coming down so we can start a life together.

Long distance relationships usually dont last too long. My last relationship was a long distance relationship because my bf was in the army and he was stationed 2 hours away from my town. HE was only able to visit on the weekends, and i didnt trust that he wasnt cheating on me with the army GIRLS! I kept questioning things and was always wondering......so eventually it ended.

well it all depends on ur man.....i mean, long distance relationships barely work out, either because of lack of communication, unfaithfulness, or u 2 jus get bored just talking on the phone.....so i will put it all in Gods hands cuz God has sum1 out there 4 u and im 100 percent sure Hes not going 2 want U 2 b far apart from ur REAL loved 1...so i seriously dont belive in long distance relationships........well good luck okay!! and its all up 2 u...im jus giving my opinion.....cuz i HATE seeing ppl get heartbroken =(.......lol..well good luck!

Distance does not matter when two hearts remain loyal to one another... ^^ good luck, be honest and make the best of the time you get to spend with the person you love...
