true the seed has been used for food and oil, and the plant can be used for fiber for building and clothing,
I don't think people will get over the stigma of reefer maddness and all that.
hemp is a viable food source
and cannabis is a holy sacrament.

Not I, but it could definately HELP change and possibly save our world in many ways. Hemp is an amazing plant. It's uses are almost as many as the misinformations put out by governments around the world. It's textile uses, nutritional value, pharmaceutical uses, religeous value and more alone should make the world take notice. But they only see people getting high on it and well... what is the problem with that exactly? Well it doesn't make you lazy, stupid(except in the short term), and it does NOT kill brain calls as so many keep saying!!!!! It temporarily alters them, not kills. My question is why do people keep talking without doing any real research? They just parrot what some clown on a 30 second tv commercial said. Gahh!!!! I hate idiots.

Smoking pot gives you the munchies.

If it succeeds in feeding the world, the world will still think it's starving and it will still order a pizza.

Cocaine, on the other hand, supresses appetite.

Both have been used by people for a real long time - chewing coca leaves, anyway.

All of you knee-jerk anti-drug nuts - you are right now living in a chemically induced state of consciousness:

You are alive.

That's only a result of putting different substances into your body - oh, like vaccines, for example.

You can get morally superior when you totally pass on:

vaccinations, anti-septics of all kinds, anesthesia, all forms of medication, water that you don't catch in a bucket and clean up yourself, etc.

People are such myopic, unquestioning chowderheads.

And then you end up being mean. And by that I mean you are both unpleasant and average (mathematical mean - which is the root of the other definition, btw).

Mow-rons.

In Africa, they long used the hempseed, crushed, to feed babies, and it is very nutritive. (Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.) Also, hemp cloth is much more durable than cotton is, and you can produce paper without the chemical reactions necessary to break down tree matter if you use hemp instead of tree matter. (Does anyone care about our environment and what we do on a daily basis that is killing it?)
We were given all seed bearing plants.
Holy plant that it is.
Blessed Be.

My mate Chalky down the pub has been saying this for years. He once planned to march on the civic centre at Wolverhampton where he was going to snatch power in a bloodless coup. But the silly bugger got so stoned the night before he overslept and missed his own revolution!
Genius!

Absolutely, God intended for us to have the sweet jeebah.
He planted it here on earth with his loving giving hands for us to utilize (in moderation of course).
It is God's weed, man! Smoke it, write on it, build your house with it, eat it and make your car run on hemp oil!

It was made by God but man has misused it to their own desires and devices. All things were made to glorify God. If you can honestly say that the glorification from inhaling goes to God and not to yourself then anything done in the holiness of God is pure and right. Unfortunately, man has and always will pervert and pollute God's good gifts.

No of course not, because as any student can tell you, the munchies are only satisfied by vast amounts of crappy food. Besides it make you hungry.
