I'm not sure. When I see jews or jewish things, I feel very uncomftable. I don't have anti-semitism feelings, but why don't I like them? I'm serious, I don't hate them or want to kill them or anything, I just don't like them.

I have a theory:

When I was 11 I saw a jewish family for the first time. They were the orthodox type and I was freaked out. It was a couple with their kids and there clothing was extremely strange to me. Those little hats the men had, the curly hair they had hanging by the side of their heads, they where dressed in black and white.

And those kids... They where the ones who impacted me most. They looked sad, unhappy, where formed in a straight line and where not allowed to speak to other kids.

I think that since I witnessed that I have never liked anything related to jews.

Is that possible?

Yes it's possible, but not liking us is a whole lot better than what most of you have tried throughout history. And at least it's not conscious. And those 'unhappy' kids? They are probably sitting now over a difficult piece of Talmud, and loving the struggle it gives them-don't feel sorry, they also have friends, Jewish ones who they have more in common with.

I don't know your age, but you seem to have a very limited view of Jewish people. The people you referred to were Hassidic Jews, who are members of one of the extremely orthodox sects, and they choose not to assimilate into American culture, but want to maintain their own strict cultural/religious views without being influenced by the mainstream. Most American Jews are well assimilated and are no different in their views and values than other Americans. All religions have sects that maintain strict orthodoxy and resist assimilation for fear of undue influence. I suggest you become more informed about mainstream Jews in our culture and not base your impression on your one experience. I am Jewish and do not live like the family you described. The fact that you are asking the question is commendable because it suggests that you don't want to stereotype people and are seeking to overcome your predjudice. Good for you!

I will Tell u something, if u were a Muslim like me u will somehow hate them or don't like them very much because of what happened or what will happen in Palestine and Lebanon, and before them Egypt, but in ur case u don't like them very much because the first Jewish family u saw was sad and unhappy as u said, but i will tell u something of course not all the Jewish like each other, u may find a good Jewish and a bad Jewish, like u can find a good christian and a bad christian, a good Muslim and a bad Muslim.

I don't know why that would offend you. You never know when you see others that look strange to you. They could be the ones who will become, or are being raised up to be, the 144,000 that preach the gospel during the tribulation period. All Jews are strange-but most all of them are okay.

Quite possible..
Just the dark clothing can scare a kiddie.

When in Japan and China I was surprised at first how this tall white faced guy scared little kiddies and made adults stare!

Jewish people are basically GREAT PEOPLE!

Now, I wouldn't call it Anti-Semitism, since you don't HATE them, you don't act on your feelings of discord towards them, you just...don't like it. It's like me not liking anything about, for example, Christians. No, I don't hate them, but I don't care for it either. I dislike their beliefs and pasty smiles. It's passive, and no one should force you to like any one culture, race, or religion. Personally, I hate monotheism. I'm anti-monotheism. I work towards it's distruction. I dislike rice pudding. It's not something I like, and would not try to stop others from participating from enjoying it though. You're an individual.

Your previous experiences and the fact that you're Muslim is the reason why you don't like them. As you are fully aware, Muslims don't like Jews, for whatever reason, and so it has been instilled in you.

You will often hear people say, "omg, ur prejudice cuz ur parents taugt u 2 be!!!11!!one"

The truth is, it is human nature to be prejudice. Different people are differently prejudice; yours just happens to be an aversion towards Zionists.
