I don't know if what my boyfriend makes is really considered 'garlic bread', but this is what he does:
Takes a loaf of italian bread and slices it like a loaf of sliced bread would look, ONLY he doesn't slice the entire way through. He leaves the bottom connected. Then he pours melted butter over the entire loaf, making sure it gets between each 'slice'. Next he sprinkles with parmesean cheese, garlic salt, and italian seasoning. Put this in the oven until it gets as crispy as you like (probably 300 degrees?) He also puts this entire loaf in a foil boat, if you will, so that the butter doesn't run everywhere.
Not sure if this is what u are looking for, but Bon Apetite!

Here's a really simple one you might like. I love making it when I make my jumbo stuffed pasta shells. =D It's also healthier than the store-bought kinds.
I like using whole wheat pita bread. What you do is use a knife to cut along the outer edge to make two circles (sort of like pulling the bread from a sandwich apart). Brush a little olive oil on the inner part of the bread, then rub the cut side of a piece of garlic all over the area you put the olive oil on. Sprinkle some parmesan cheese, oregano, and paprika over it and stick it in the oven. I'm not sure how long, but I usually keep it in for 5 minutes at 350 or 400 degrees Fahrenheit. (and no, the garlic doesn't go to waste... I chop it up and throw it in with my pasta shell sauce.) =D

Buy some great artisan bread from your local bakery or farmers market...sometimes you can get a nice quality crusty loaf at your grocery store. Cut it in half and brush both sides liberally with olive oil. Smash and chop fine 3-4 cloves of garlic and sprinkle over the inside of the bread halves. You can also at this point do any fresh or even dried herbs you like...for ex: basil, parsley, rosemary. Toast in your oven as you normally would.
For an extra kick try breaking down 2 or 3 anchovies in some olive oil in a sauce pan...add a pinch or 2 of chili flake and proceed as stated above by brushing the bread halves...sprinkling the garlic and adding chopped herbs. Crazy tasty!

you don't need a recipe. Just a nice french loaf some butter and some garlic. some parsley or other herbs that you like. mix the butter garlic and herbs together. cut slits in the bread stick and in each of the slits not the ends tho. Spread the butter on the bread wrap in foil. And put in to oven. I am not sure how long 10 to 15 mins should do it. How much garlic and herbs well that is up to you how much to you like is how much.

I use French bread from the grocer. I slice it in half length-wise, spread butter, or margarine on both halves then I sprinkle garlic seasoning on them. Put them back together and heat in a warm oven (250') until golden brown. Remove from oven and slice in diagonal slices the desired width. Serve with any Italian dish.

all you need is a loaf of french bread, cut bread in half lenghwise, softened butter mixed with minced garlic( i but the kind already minced for me in the jar at every grocery store), and spread generously over bread and bake in oven until bread is crispy, top browned and butter melted. very yummy. never heard of garlic bread with riccota cheese but, topped with mozarella is really good.

pick out your favorite bread (french, sour dough or whatever). then take some butter and crushed garlic, available at ant grocery store. Add garlic to butter and heat very slowly and very low heat.
allow melted butter and garlic to stand for about 30 min. Do not allow butter to boil, it could scorch. let cool. When butter starts to harden spread on bread with paprika on top for color. 350 degrees for about 5-10 min. looks veryu yummy..
