There would be far less conflict. The majority of conflicts in the world are "holy wars." The Christians performed the Crusades, which in turn created Islamic terrorists; the Christians continued the Crusades in modern times by stealing Muslim land and giving it to Jews.

THERE WOULD BE VIRTUALLY NO CONFLICT WITH PEOPLE!!!! we would all live more happily with each other and co-exist without violence
ON THE OTHER HAND: some people believe that religion has set standards and morals for people, and these standards are meant to make people better human beings....so without religion, there would be the odd few people who would find ways of splitting the global community
Im pretty religious myself, and i think my faith makes me stronger....but i cant help but think that if we all had faith in ourselves only, there would be no need for religion!!

Well there would be allot less hatred. And science would be free to make everyone lives better as no one could play god anymore and scientists could get on with real science instead of explaining why evolution is true again and again and again to people who don't want to listen. So without religion the world would be a better place. Say no to jesus

There will chaos without religion. People will be doing what they wanted killing, raping and etc. The point is that religion just like anything man created which can be misused for self-gain.

religeon does great thing always not always good things and not always bad things the world would be affected in so many ways that there is no possible way to predict the outcome unless you have a completly accurate account of history since the begginning of time (which i believe god made the world so we probably wouldn't exist either that or adam and eve would have to just forget about him for religeon not to exist) and you would have to have an iq of about 20000000000000000000 to find the outcome of a world of aetheism

I think it would be a happier, more joyous place to be. We'd find many more things to argue about because that's what humans do, but without the preaching and condemning and killing in god's name all the time...
Believe in god if you must... but organized religion is one of the roots of evil.

nicely, on the constructive section there may well be much less conflicts, argueing, and struggling with. yet humanity might in basic terms discover yet another subject count to argue over besides. on the destructive section, countless people turn to their religious ideals to alleviate melancholy and discover insurance. without faith, and a few thing to anticipate after dying, many people may well be...upset. yet although consistent with danger people might in basic terms come to settle for that.

It would be much better. Religion is another superstition. It corrals people with emotion, so that leaders can manipulate them.
Without it, there would be other ways that people are corralled and controlled. However, at least religion would be removed, which would make it more difficult for them.
