Yeah, they start 2 rolls of t.p. (1 for each side of the plane) and it's a race to see which side can get the roll to the back of the plane first--where it is flushed and it's really cool if they can flush the whole strip w/o it breaking. Winning side gets bragging rights and sometimes an extra bag of peanuts. It's another one of the crazy, fun things that Southwest does on longer flights. The only purpose would be to break up the tedium. It's one of those things that makes Southwest passengers more loyal than other airlines. It's fun....

We did it once, the rules were just the side that made it to the back the fastest without tearing the TP won... It is hard finding people always willing to participate (you need at least one per row).

It was just something fun to break up a flight.

solid factor. yet perchance they have been given something on there palms? attempting to tear off un-perforated paper with one hand might in all likelihood consequence interior the full roll unraveling. and additionally, whilst i flow to the regular public lavatory, i might fairly no longer see the place somebody had their grubby lil' palms on the lavatory paper formerly me. extremely the place I stay, maximum public lavatories do have un-perforated lavatory paper with the tear off dispenser so one extremely touches the paper.

looks too me like each side gets a roll and the first roll to make it all the way to the back of the plane, with each person holding on too it, (possibly with out breaking/ripping) wins?
