Amino acids are called "amino acids" because they all contain an amino group (NH2) and a carboxyl group (COOH), which is acidic. Since the 20 protein amino acids can be arranged in any order to make any number of polypeptides, their potential for a variety of inventions in the field of medicine is extraordinary. Their current uses in animal feed and food additives will continue to grow as there are no substitutes for amino acids and their value has been well proven.

No.All amino acids are,are protein with the peptide bonds broken to separate the many components. This is done by acids in your stomach. They are then absorbed through the villi in the intestines. There's nothing at all magical about them.Don't let anyone tell you this is a stupid question because the only stupid question is the one that you don't ask!I guess biomedical scientists don't have to know how to spell.I've added this to my watch list just to come back and check.I'm a martian biomedical scientist from the year 374738.Yeah your a scientist.Go look at some of his other Questions. He asks questions on chemistry lol.Is it really necessary to lie just to make someone believe you?

Hmm - well - I think you need to find out a bit more about amino acids! If you didn't have any then you might not grow as much as you should but they're easy to get as they're in so many foods.

Amino Acids are what make up proteins. Proteins build and repair muscle tissue. I won't say that they will make you grow but a lack of them will make you not grow because it is needed to build your body.
