besides coffee in the early morning? I have cut back on coffee, I do at times feel the need to have it, but I'd prefer to find a healthier alternative. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't trade my daily two cups of joe for anything :)

I have problems of waining energy levels though. What helps me is taking Geritol Tonic. MOst people think it tastes terrible, but it's likely that a lot more menstruating females than realize it have low iron levels.

Another thing that is great for morning energy is to get some Brewers Yeast to mix with your glass of orange juice (you'll need a whisk or blender or it gets lumpy). It is high in B 12 complex which your body really needs anyway.. Things like alcohol, birth control pills, even sugary foods can deplete your body's vitamin B supply.

I've cut down on coffee consumption as well, but what really helps is to cut out sugar. Your body will go through a few days of withdrawal, believe it or not, but later on you'll start to feel better. Along with this drinks glass after glass of water and you'll start to feel cleaner and more energetic without taking a bunch of supplements.

B12. You can't get sick from taking too much. (but don't take more than the label says...) Go to the store and find a suplement that has a balance of the B vitamins. You can also learn about body energy thru yoga, chi gong, taoism, etc, but that takes decades and I'm guessing you want something right now, eh?
