Would I be wrong if I didn't want to date someone because I know my mama wouldn't approve of the things he's done in the past. I know his past isn't all that great but I really like him.

Tell you mom that you like this guy and see how it goes. if you really like him then she should let you date how you want no matter what she knows about the guy. she should let you live your life the way you want to.

You don't say how old you are. Guess you still live at home. Not dating him is a way to avoid problems with mama. If you do decide to date him, it could mean conflict at home and having to sneak to see him. Do you approve of what he did in the past? It would not be wrong not to date him. Would it be wrong to date him?

Usually moms always know whats best so listen to her. There is someone better out there for you. You might just like him because you know he wants you. Be careful I don't think you should.
