Your anger could make you do things you'll regret.......please see a doctor and tell him about your problem....he will refer you to counseling if he thinks it's necessary.............In the meantime, when you feel yourself getting angry, take a time out to calm down............go for a walk, take a shower or a nap.......make the decision that you can and will control your anger. Think about what kind of person you want to be and how you want your family life to be. I think it says a lot that you recognize you have issues. You can find coping skills that will help you with this...........just take the first step. Good luck to you and your family.

The answer is only with U cos even if U go to a shrink he will only ask U to do a lot of work on urself to help U control the anger. Join an anger management group so U can find out the things U can do to help urself.

go to a phsycologist or take an anger managment class. if your phsycologist thinks you needs meds he/ she will hook up w/ your doc and find the right ones. try looking at the situation in terms of WHAT is right not WHO is right. If you still can't stop the yelling count to ten breath deeply and calmly ask your wife, "can we think of a compromise?" or tell your kids "if you go clean your room then of course you can... with your friends" try negotiating. maybe get marriage counsiling if you STILL can't get along. maybe spend more time w/ your family and get to know them a littole better, maybe then you'll understand the stress behind their yelling, and they will understand yours. Is everything alright at work, with your parents, have you just make an incredible expense, or made a change in income, diet, your sexual life or job? If you answered yes to one or more of these, your anger is most likely coming from stress of these. has someone close to you passed away? if any of these burdens has been placed upon you, talk it out. It doesn't matter if you talk to your wife or a stranger with a degree in mental problems. either way, you should feel better and get along with your family. It may even help you do better in other areas of your life: such as work

Anger management therapy is watcha need...you will be shown exercises to control that temper....go with the drugs as a last resort....also your mental health care provider might give you some tranquilizers to take the edge off.

You have done the first step already by admitting you have a problem .Good for you.There are a lot of self-help groups and professionals of all kinds. Please go to one and talk over your problems before you really hurt your wife or children one day and regret it for the rest of your life.I really don't think you want to do that so the best of luck getting help and making you and your family happy living together.

Go to a shrink first. If you need to get on some kind of drug he can prescribe it to you, and continue helping you after your on the drug. It's a good thing you realize this now and know you need help before something seriously bad happens :)

whooaa! don't jump to meds for all problems
talk about it with your doctor and ask to be referred to a specialist
write down what you are angry about or annyoed with as often as you need to, then find a solution or answer to your problem as you write and write it down. read it over to yourself. it does work...remember temper comes from anger.
