I am a nutritionist
best thing to do is breastfeed your baby
next best would be a well balanced diet, (with it you will lose about 2 lbs a week)
the worst thing to do would be a fad diet or one that has no nutritional backing, or to try to lose too much weight too fast (which just wont work)
I can help set up a personalized diet if you want to contact me

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

If you were naturally thin before your pregnancy, go back to what you were doing before. Don't freak out yet -- it takes a while to get your tummy to shrink. Also, realize that your hipbones had to spread, so it might no be your tummy that is causing your clothes not to fit. I know it's a drag, but other than making an effort to exercise you can't do much else but wait.

With my first son, I did very little...it came off in time and I lost all but 10 lb. of my extra baby weight. (I put on 80 lb.) It's like they say...it takes 9 months to gain it, and 9 months to lose it. :)
When my second son was born, his older brother was only 16 months old, so HE was my diet plan. Between changing poopy diapers to running after my older son to giving baths, etc., it came off pretty quickly.

regrettably to your bf toddler fat is the toughest to do away with. the only suggestion i can grant him and all and sundry else with the concern is to artwork complicated and anticipate the outcomes to take a at the same time as. in basic terms doing cardio won't get all the toddler fat long gone. He desires to artwork on getting greater advantageous and development greater muscle. The greater muscle he has the greater energy are burnt during the day. greater power and muscle mixed with cardio will enable him to lose those few greater beneficial pounds.

a low calorie diet or any kind of fad diet is not healthy for you or the baby as toxins may get in your milk if your breastfeeding.. exercise helps though.. i just read an article about getting back in shape after pregnancy... you should have a look at it.. it gives you a few tips..
