I am a single mom in my 30's. This guy is 6 years older then me. We went out twice and kissed alot, but didn't make out or anything. He said he'd call me the next day and didn't call for 3 days. So we played phone tag for a few days. I finally adopted the attitude that if was important enough to him, he'd at least leave a message or try me more then once a day. So I left it at 'I guess I like him more then he likes me. I supposed he only wanted one thing, and so he gave up. I don't want to trust him if he only has one thing in his head.... I supposed all those awesome things he said were what he wanted me to hear, and must be words only. '. It was hard but I finally let it go. Now, after about 2 weeks, he leaves me a message.
I want to call because I really liked him. But on the other hand...
What is your opinion...
Should I return his call???

He took too long, but if you really like him, give him another chance. One more though, just one more

I think he was doing the 'leave her wait a bit so you won't look anxious and desperate' now after two weeks he see's you're not playing the game anymore, so I think he's come out of his hiding place and left a message. Give him a call, if you want to see if he is only about one thing, just go out with him a few times and see what he tries. You don't have to do anything you don't want to, and if all he wants is that and you tell him you want to wait, and he gives up. Then you know, no harm, no foul.

You probably should call but be careful. Make sure you understand your feelings and he should explain why he didn't make the effort to get in touch previously. Be careful not to get in the same spot again.

Life is way too short to waste it on these kinds of games. Don't you feel you deserve better than this? Better yet, wouldn't you want better than this for your daughter? Don't settle for anything less than what you would want for her. You deserve to be treated with respect... so act like it.

Depends on whether or not the message was apologetic (Sorry I haven't called but...) or casual (Hi, how have you been...).
In the first instance - Yes; if the other, forget him.

Yes. Call because you might regret it later in life. You'll never know... But ask him why he didn't call you. Take cautious steps, but I would definetly(spelling?) call him back. If he's cute : )

Call him but just to find out if he's really an idiot. Don't show excessive interest.
