All of the above. T-shirts, denim and tattoos are more appropriate for some environments; silk shirts, slacks and style are better for others. If you can only dress one way or the other you need to get out more.

It's funny you should ask as a neighbour of mine ( she ) had a go at me the other day saying I should shave off my 'scruffy' beard. Tho why it bothers her when she already has a boyfriend.........So I have to quote someone ( don't remember who ) who said clothes don't make the man. Buddha wore rags, Albert Einstein had wild hair, Jesus wore a loin cloth, It's of no matter. As my son said; It's not about fashion dad, it's about what you are comfortable with. Only with the heart does one see what's important......unless one is superficial.

on an average day the demin tattooed guy would get my attention but if i was going out somewhere really nice I'd hope for him to wear the latter.
times and places call for different appearances, at home i wear jeans, at work i wear a suit.
if the guys from work saw me at home i don't think they'd recognise me!!
