Its so hard to keep my attention does anyone have any suggestions to help?

TAPE the lectures -- but make sure that your instructor is agreeable to this. Have you already checked at your school's guidance department or their Special Needs coordinator? Most of these special needs coordinators will do not only the evaluation for this type of attention problem, but work with the instructors to make sure you have the support you need -- right down to taping lectures, so that you can hear them later and understand them at small intervals.

think of it this way:
if you don`t pay attention you get bad grades if you get bad grades you stay back a grade and have to do the work all over again, yet again to fail....
or you can ask a friend to help you pay attention

Try getting something like playdough to play with, sometimes a little bit of manuel stimulation can increase concentration.
