Can putting mayo in your hair prevent frizz? And do you just put it in like shampoo and then rinse it off?

temporarily, yes. It coats your hair but comes out as soon as you wash it. Mayo won't do anything in the long run to fix frizz.

I really don't recommend using it. While you will definitely see things everywhere telling you to use it, most mayonnaises have drying ingredients that will make your hair more frizzy in the long run.
