What can I do to cut the itching??? I can't take any antihistimines or anything like that. I've tried gold bond and lanacane, but neither do much. Help!!!

aloe vera gel. cooling and soothing.
Dont bother with calamine as it dries the skin too much.

I live in South Florida. Our state bird is the mosquito. I use Isopropyl Alcohol, 70%. Cheap at any drug store. Pour a handful on your legs, ankles and arms. Burns a bit but it takes away the itch. Starts inching again, hit it again. Solution #2: a pint of Jack on ice if your over 21 and at home. Good luck!

I like peroxide, it kills the germs, and it does burn for a few minutes, but it is better than itching for hours. Keep applying it til the itching stops.use a cotton ball. It doesn't take too long. Good luck and don't scratch.

Use an anti-itch cream. Like neosporin.

Try some caladryl. It has benedryl in it. You can also put neosporin or polysporin on any bites that have become crusty from scratching.
