Some of the things I wanted when I was 13. A 13 year old girl friend, a rifle or shotgun, A trip to somewhere neat like an amusement park, mountains, or beach, a canoe so I could float and fish Strawberry river or Piney creek, a motor cycle, or a new fishing pole.

Other than the girl friend these are not necessarily in order.

Realistically everything is geared towards electronics these days. Does your son have any outside interest? If so, then encourage that instead of one more thing to promote video games and children from sitting in front of the tv or on the phone gaining wt and becoming unhealthy. A paint ball party with his friends, or rock climbing or river rafting lessons or a year long membership to a karate class or anything else you think he may be interested in. Give you son something he will remember and I bet he will enjoy it.
