You are saying"'jail" ID number? call the local or county facility that they are being "housed" in.

If you are meaning to say prison id number then it depends on what state you are in.
In Texas it would be a TDCJ inmate number.

That is the only one that I know anything about. I live in an area that has like 6 prisons in the area.........lol
And a lot of relatives that work for TDCJ

Check out the jail's website where the person who you are looking for is. You could do a search of the inmate population.

I can't give you a website because I don't know where the person is that you are looking for.

By going to your county's website just type in for instance Dallas County superior court, or wherever you are and the jail info comes up, all you need is to type in the person's name and it should come up as well as why they are there.

check for your local sherrif's department and look under booking numbers. usually all you have to input is a person's full name. i'd give you a website but i do not know where you are located.

i guess it depends on where you live, In Mississippi you can go to the MDOC inmate website and get there number.

You can do an inmate search within your state as long as you have their full name and they will give you all pertinent information.
