I've thought of getting a nose ring / stud but I don't want to have stuff running out my nose in places that's it's not supposed to......

That doesn't happen. I have had my nose pierced for almost 2 years, and when you get a runny nose, it only comes out of your nostrils. The piercing has no effect of runny noses, or blowing them. It's all the same.

I always wondered that. I would imagine it gets a bit oozy and you would need to clean the post. Nose rings are still in style? You know that hole will never close up if you change your mind, and always look like an acne scar?

I've often thought about that. I asked a student once and she said when she has a cold, she doesn't wear her nose ring. So, I don't know about nose rings, but a guy used to work for my brother and they called him "BB Boy" because he had a lip ring and used to spit out the hole.

Nothing will come out of the wrong hole unless you force it. I've never had a problem with mine.

I don't have one, personally, but I heard the piercing goes a bit crusty, which can be uncomfortable... :P
