Your uncle needs to get medical help without waiting. The change in the size of lump indicates something is happening and earlier it is diagnosed, better are his chances. Don't wait.

Not sure what caused the lump originally.... but there are many things it could be ... from scar tissue to a tumor. Have a dr do a biopsy to be certain. And dont listen to people telling u it ABSOLUTELY isnt cance.... a friend of mine died fom a tumor in his head.... it was slow growing, so he didnt get help til he suffered about 8 yrs with it.Too late by that time.

I don't think it is cancer as it existed already for 10 yrs!! Cancer grows much faster. But be careful there are cases where a begnin tumor can turn into cancer! Have him see a doc!!

I would suggest that he sees a surgeon to get a biopsy taken; It is not a good thing to have something sit around for years.

That's the old way, "If it isn't broke, don't fix it, just pray;" meanwhile while we do nothing, it's just brokebackin you up.

Its probably a lipoma, which is a benign tumour of fatty tissue. It would make sense for a doctor to check it out properly.

Have him see a physician. You must find out one way or the other. Best of luck. Hope it's OK.

I'd check with general practitioner. He could have problem with spine.
