Drink your milk and get lots of sleep (like 8 to 10 hours, if you can manage it), not just rest. Another thing would be to consider your family's genetics. If your family and relatives are tall, then you will grow taller; if not milk and sleep can help.

I don't know whether you are female or male...if you are female...you are right in the middle of the growth chart for your age...normally a female will reach her height limit when she is around 18, but that has been proven that some females have gained extra inches and sizes after pregnancies. if male you are barely in the range for your age, you are in the 6th percent..but thats nothing to worry about, you still have growing years and boys grow in spurts...if you was to mark your height in a door way and come back a month later I bet you would have grown a lot! below I listed a link that has a growth chart calculator...its pretty simple to use, just fill out gender, age and weight and it tells you what percentile you are in on the growth chart.

I don't think that there is a way to make yourself grow height...sometimes it is in genitics, you may take after a short parent or grand parent...but right now it is too soon to tell how tall you will be, you still have growing years to come.

I would suggest waiting for nature to finish up with you before becoming too concerned. Maybe when you are 20 or so if you still aren't at the height you desire (by then you may be comfortable with 5'6") you can consult a plastic surgeon who can surgically extend your height thru a tremendously painful surgery where they break your shins and install metal rods. Once the metal rods are in place I believe the next step of the procedure is to slowly over weeks or even months lengthen your legs to the desired length.

There is nothing you can really do other than continue to eat healthy get your exercise and time will take its toll, you are only 16 guys are not completly finished growing until their mid twenties so just relax. And hey maybe you can still get in for kids prices some places thats always a bonus.

At your age you're pretty much done.
Try growing in other ways that matter more.Be the best at anything you do (obviously not basketball).
You don't hafta be big to be big-time!I had one boss that I had to look down to when I looked up to him!
You're gonna hear jokes....come up with smartass answers for them.
If you worry too much about your height it'll show!Let your bigness show from the inside!

Stretch, walk, workout.

Genes don't ALWAYS matter. My whole family history has been about being short, and i'm 14 (turning 15 next month), and i'm 6'0" or 6'1". Also, I look older for my age, strangely.

So just stretch, walk, workout, do what you do, you'll grow.

Drink lots of water, exercise regularly, maintain a healthy diet, and take your vitamins. The rest is up to genetics. Good luck!

Seriously talk to your doctor. It may not happen... you may not grow more. Are you male or female? If you are female you are likely done growing. If you are male you may still grow but nothing you will do will probably affect it. It is in your genes.
