yes you can get it again. In fact, anyone can get meningitis. Meningitis is an infection or inflammation of the membranes covering the brain and spinal cord. Most common causes in adult are bacterial infection with streptococcus pneumoniae, herpesviruses, yeasts such as candida may cause severe often fatal meningitis.
