We didn't have documents to come in the first time, we just came over and took over...

How is that legal?

I was not born in this country but I do have the paper work.

being a US Citizen has nothing to do with this, and the fact that I waited too long??? WTF...

I couldn't file for citizenship until 5 years after I received my green card and only having parent sponsorship, which didn't come avaliable until I was 16. At that time and there after, am I able to file for citizenship....

I've read history books, I'm not dense!

I'm only merely posing a question, not a question of personal attack!!

I don't think they ask anything different of the illegals than what was done by any one else at one time.
Get in legally. There's something very dishonest about it all.
People had to jump through hoops and go through extreme turmoil to get legal here.
The illegals are going to have to do the same

Look for the 300,459,034,858,734,905,803,485,903,458,934,859,034,850,934,890,580,934,850,934,095,789,034,750,934,759,083,409,850,934,859,834,905,890,348,590,348,583,409,582,983,450,923,875,498,572,743,528,934,175,473,175,175,783,475,734,157,843,758,789,347,573,857,584,156,348,594,173,489,758,973,489,789,237,498,730,857,082,354,341st time Natives are not true natives...as they originated from Asia, Mongolia, India, and Siberia...where it was cold...it's a fact, read a history book....

Now... until the 1930's, the first immigration laws didn't come into play... okay? There are laws now...get used to it.

It's that simple.. And it is not OUR fault you have to wait in line. Okay?

If you wanted to be a citizen legally...sooner, you should have planned it out, and acted on it sooner. Do NOT blame ME or ANYONE ELSE because you were irresponsible!

It is time you dumb people got your act together and started taking responsability; and being accountable for your own actions! Stop pointing the fingers and blaming others!

When my ancestors came here it was before there were any laws governing immigration so your point is moot.,and as Ive said the Native Americans really aren't native to this country ,as their ancestors came across to this land on a land bridge from another Continent so they immigrated to here from another place too.So a native American is anyone born here in this country. So all of us that are born in this country are the real native Americans.
Do not compare the people that came here and carved out a life in the wilderness to people that come here illegally and expect to be welcomed. Its not the same,my ancestors didn't come here sneaking across any boarders, they came as settlers in a new world.I don't want any one that comes here by illegal means, they are disrespecting the American laws and its people. If you are legal come join us in this great country but if you aren't then stay where you are or face the law.

My great grandparents immigrated from Europe over to the US. They came here legally. They took the time to fill out the paperwork and go through the proper channels to come to this country. Illegal Immigrants give people who actually took the time to go through the channels a bad name.

People who are unhappy with the "illegal" status have 2 options... get their citizenship or leave. It makes me sick to my stomach to hear people that are in this country illegally having more rights in some instances than I do. My grandparents entered this country during the Great Depression and one of the first things they did was to get their citizenship. Then, they started living the American Dream. They didn't try and abuse the laws or take advantage of the system by not paying into it, yet getting something out of it. It's too bad people in this country illegally can't realize that they can't start living their dream until they become a citizen in this country.

Wake up would you. If you are born in this country, you are a NATIVE. You did not migrate here. And the ones that did, came here legally.
You guys need to get over it, and stop trying to justify the illegals position.

"Native" has nothing to do with it. We are a nation of laws. Disregard the laws, and you become a criminal. Those of us lucky enough to be born here belong here. Everyone else has to go through channels. If I moved to another country, the same would apply.

You answered your own question here. You said that all of us were "immigrants" at some point. True, we were LEGAL immigrants. And they aren't. Why is this so hard for you to understand?
