I certainly think it is possible to be in love at age 14. If you are both about that age, you will be going through a lot of feelings and changes in the upcoming years. Unfortunately, the love you feel today will, most likely, change or fade over time.
The important thing to remember is that you are still growing physically and mentally. It is okay to feel intense love today, just don't expect that you will both feel the same way next year. Be open and honest with each other and accept that things will most likely be changing, this is normal.

No. It has only been two years since your brain began developing the ability of conceptual thought process. It will not be complete until age 24 for females, age 30 for males. What you are feeling is the urges of youth, combined with developing hormones. Love is something that develops over many years of close contact with someone you desire. You will not fully understand that until you are a full adult, which is not 18. Males are adults at age 18 only because they are drafted, and females get it only because the males have it, but they are not required to meet the same responsibilities. Males are drafted at age 18 because their brains are still so much mush and they can be easily manipulated to do things they wouldn't otherwise.

Yes. I met my first love at the tender age of 14 and 5 years later we married and 5 years later we divorced. This isn't to say that anyone else who went through this got divorced too. It's different for everyone. My Brother and his Wife met when she was in 6th grade and guess what? They will be celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary next month. So, yes...you can definitely be in love at the tender age of 14. ;-)

You could be "in puppy love". It's a different kind of love. Very innocent and pure. It changes and grows as you get older. When you do, you'll understand and compare it to back then. I was in love at 16 and I'm 25 now and I am still in love with the same man. Only difference, is that love has evolved into something at a higher level with respect, loyalty and intensity.

Not completely. You make think you are, and you may have strong feelings, but nothing that would last.
The kind of person you want to be with wont be the same when your 18.
Go out and have fun. Don't worry about love, it messes stuff up. Especially at 14!

I believe that you could fall in love with someone at that age, but I don't believe that there's a good chance that the one you have fallen in love with will last, your only 14 after all.

I think 14 is a young age to be thinking about love. Your mind has not yet matured as much as someone older than you. Do not call it love until your gut tells you. You'll know when this happens. (Later in life.)

no just lust. love is more or so dying for someone doing anything in the world for that person. going through the thick and thin with that person. willing to be in debt for that person love is not a feeling or filling it is an action and a commitment you are too young to be committed and to hold down responsibility. you have a long time to decide if you want to be or are in love. you haven't even lived to know the difference and if you have to ask than you are not in love. at 14 i thought i was in love. yeah right i was being used for my innocence and vulnerability. concentrate more on your future than thinking in love at this age. you are asking for early pregnancy at this point.
