I graduate in 7 months out of culinary School and intend to work on a cruise line till my loans paid off, But I was thinking of doing it for the rest of my life. After breaking up with my so called true love( B.S) I decided to live life alone. No strings attached. So Cruise lines is a good idea right. Any advice. or anyone experienced with working on a cruise line

Sounds like an awesome idea. You get to travel, meet interesting people, you don't have to pay rent and utilities. You are foot loose and fancy free. I have heard that the sleeping quarters on cruise ships are a bit cramped though and you work long hours. Just check out what kind of quarters they give you and make sure you are not susceptible to sea sickness.

I was working as a skipper in a sailboat. For a young woman it was hard because I was alone without crew.
I don't know what is your job exactly but a cruise line job is both good and bad. You have much money but you are alone for a long time. You can visit new places and meet new people but you see your family and friends only few days. It depends on how long you travel.
I was traveling across Aegean sea islands and trips' durations are from a week to a month. When my clients aren't friendly the trip was a nightmare. But I met amazing people who became friends of mine and loved my country. Take care and good luck

You need to know most of the people who work on cruise ships work 6 months on/6 months off. That is 6 months with no days off. Now the 6 months off is a great thing, but the 6 months straight is a little tough.

Go For It!!! If I didn't have any kids and had the opportunity to see the world, I would take it in a heartbeat. No regrets. You'll get to experience and see things you would never see otherwise...Don't waste this opportunity. Best wishes.
