My doctor said I have too much ear wax. When I asked him what to do about it he said "get a product to deal with it!" and really wasn't much help and just made me feel stupid. I tried a ear-wax removal product and I tried hydrogen peroxide and ear candles but the wax is still there. How to remove?

well, almost every morning when i get out of the shower and use a cutip 2 clean out my ears. Lot's of ppl don't care about there ears and probobly juz ignore the Doctor when he says they have 2 much earwax. i notice in alot of ppl's ears that they have a bunch of earwax and some of it is the color of red. so don't feel stupid cuz u r actually doing the right thing and trying 2 find the right product 2 clean out your ears and do what your doctor said 2 do. U could google it saying "ear wax removal" i did that b4 i answered this question and i saw somethin that said "ear wax removal kit" i didn't look in2 it anymore bcuz i didn't want 2 recomend anything 2 u that u've already tried. i don't know much about ears but, u could keep using ear drops or whatever u were using 4 a while longer. maybe u aren't giving the product enough time 2 work. well, hope this helps! happy ear wax removing! lol

Your doctor is an A.SS and I would consider him incomptent and never see him again. You never, ever should put anything in your ear unless it is prescribed by a doctor.
I have terrible ear wax problems and when I go to the doctor, he irrigates my ears with warm water. His nurse puts this thing up against and under my ear to catch the water and gunk and he squirts major water into my ear until the wax comes out. I can actually see the waxy particles floating around in the water. Its amazing how much wax 1 persons ears can hold.
Any physician who makes you feel stupd is not worth the money you pay him and needs to be fired. Get yourself a new doctor.
PS I am a RN x 12 years and if you are having ear wax problems go see a ear, nose throat doctor. Your hearing is too important and while you are putting unprescribed things inside your ear because your doctor told you to, you are introducing liquid into your ear and are risking bursting your ear drum. Been there, done that. I tried to cure myself once.
