Well, my hair is puffy. Its quite annoying. I was looking for a way to keep it like it looks everytime I get out of the shower. Flat, wet looking, and really loose flowing. What can I do to achieve this for say a 12-hour period?

Erm, you want to stay away from the wet look for the following reasons:

1. It looks horrible.

2. It looks greasy.

3. It looks very, very unsophisticated.

4. It means you will have to put a lot of gel, etc in your hair to get the look, which is horrible.

5. Women dont like it.

6. They like it even less when they get close enough to touch your horrible hair.

And in terms of the "puffiness", lets put put it into a more "technical" wording: your hair is suffering from too much VOLUME.

To take the volume out of your hair, do the following:

1. Perhaps think about using a devolumising shampoo and conditioner. Maybe get your hair cut regularly to keep it short. Also when getting it cut, ask for all of the weight to be taken out of it PLUS ask for it to be thinned by a good amount. This will be very effective at keeping the volume out.

2. DO not towel dry your hair. This adds static to your hair, volumising it. It also means the hair is pushed around everywhere meaning even more volume is added to your hair. BLOW dry your hair instead.

3. Buy an IONIC hair dryer. This keeps your hair further conditioned and takes all the positive charges (static) out of your hair, meaning there is less chance of it gaining any significant volume.

4. Blow dry your hair in the direction of the hair growth. This will mean your hair will keep a lower profile to your head.

5. Use a leave in conditioner. This will mean you hair will stay in better condition, will be "free flowing" and further DEvolumises the hair.

6. Use a heavy based hair product that does not look obvious or is greasy/sticky, etc. Often the more expensive, the more "professional" and sophisticated finish it will give. You want a low-sheen (only use matte effect if you have thin or blonde/light coloured hair) clay or styling mud. Only use wax if it is high quality, is not massively shiny and that washes out easily/is not sticky, etc.

7. At the end of the day, its your preference so do as you please. Just remember its only dirty f*ckin turks who have horrible grease-pit hair, and women hate it, unless they are either plebs or chav's. So try and stay away from it....

you could carry a gallon of water on your back and give yourself a little sprinkle every 10mins or so BUT...I don't think that would be very comfortable for you

Try a wet look gel that hardens like it's wet...hard hair aint good though

Could get some good wax and play with it or but some hair straightners!

;o)

Try a de-frizz shampoo. Go to boots, a professional shampoo by john frieda is good.

If your hair is dry, it may be a lack of vitamin c, you can get creams with vitamin c, that helps put the bounce and shine back in the hair.

Usually, which too long for me. I believe it depends on the guy and his face though. Certain guys may pull off long hair and other folks can't.
