Just go up to her when she's alone and start a conversation with her. Ask her how she's been, what she thinks of (put teacher's name, subject here), etc. Talk to her for a few days and then ask her out to I don't know a movie or to an upcoming party, if there is one. If she turns you down, accept it and move on. Or if you really like her a lot, keep asking her for a while but if everytime she says no then move on.

be suave.. shes probably a looker and have a lot of guys bang on her. Just smile, make her feel as if you are confident, and in control. Even if it isn't true. Confidence speaks volumes to people. Be witty, but personable. let her know she is special... but don't convey the information like a stalker or a rap singer. if it happens because you are being you... it is meant to be. If not, Its better off thus.

you are a man afterall, put aside fears, shame and every other thing, get close to her through academic and class work, invite her one day for an outing, she ll not say no, but be careful, ladies like that hardly forget relationship, if are not intending to marry her please better dont start.

IDK; maybe start talking about a movie you'd like to see, when she's around of course, and then casually ask her if she's seen it. If she says no, you know what to do. Just relax, she's just a person.
