i am only asking this because ted stevens has come up with some dumb *** thing about wind turbines inter feering with raido towers for airplanes of fire island

they interfere with air current formations
imagine a place full of huge fans turning together, it still effects the air current, and it is true it in turns effect radio towers in smaller place or coastal regions with high tides and sea winds,
and remember wind turbines are charged to produce electricity which can in turn charge the air and turn it into micro magnetic waves, to a very big extent , ted Stevens is right about this

Everything electrical gives off magnetic waves. Even the electrical outlets and wires in the radio tower.

Interference with radio waves it the domain of the FCC. They regulate all the frequencies and penalize inappropiate interference. If anything is interfereing with radio towers for airplanes, it should be reported to the FCC, no matter what it is.

I would say that any electric generator would interfere more than a microwave. Microwaves are very high frequency, and electric geneartors are very low frequency. A low frequency magenetic wave has far more harmonics that can cause interference.
